DAY-HIKE TO LOMA DEL PLIEGUE TUMBADO
This is one of the less hiked trails in the park, however one of the most spectacular views because if weather allows us to, we can see both mountain ranges, Cerro Torre Range and Fitz Roy Range! Along with the Wind Pass and Mariano Moreno range in the back (mountains in the Southern Continental Ice Cap).
If the physical condition of participants is great, we will be able to get to the summit, (not technical): Loma del Pliegue Tumbado.
On the last steep hike up, we will be able to find fossils: belemnites.
From the summit, we can even see the village, El Chalten!
Distance of 20 km round trip.
Altitude gain of 1000 meters.
7 to 10 hour-hiking round trip.
